The Law Offices of Shorstein and Lee is pleased to welcome former elected State Attorney Harry L. Shorstein, of counsel.  Mr. Shorstein served the northest Florida community as the elected State Attorney for five terms (1991-2008) and as General Counsel for the City of Jacksonville, and he now lends his extensive knowledge and experience to you at the Law Offices of Shorstein and Lee.

At the Law Offices of Shorstein and Lee, we have an excellent reputation for honest, fair, and aggressive representation of our clients. With more than 20 years combined experience as prosecutors and in private practice, we have the experience to handle your case. We handle exclusively criminal law and family law matters. Unlike other law offices who try to handle “whatever comes in the door”, our attorneys focus only on criminal defense and family law representation. The continuing success of our practice is due to our commitment to simple principles: complete honesty with our clients, hard work on their behalf, and gaining the best possible results in the courtroom.

In the courtroom, our lawyers have obtained "not guilty" verdicts or dismissals on a long list of criminal charges, including homicide, sexual assault, drug distribution, battery, and a variety of traffic offenses, including driving under the influence.  If your case goes to trial our experience and reputation will guide you. We consult closely with our clients; if they wish to avoid the stress of a trial, we will work toward a favorable settlement through negotiation. Keep in mind that most cases do not go to trial, and we are confident that our reputation for negotiating desired results without the necessity of trial is exceptional.

The Law Offices of Shorstein and Lee consists of three full-time attorneys and one attorney of counsel. Bryan Shorstein dedicates his practice entirely to criminal defense. Sung Lee has a very successful family law and criminal defense practice. Virginia Morgan is a talented lawyer who primarily handles family law cases, and also handles criminal defense cases.  Harry Shorstein provides counsel to the full-time attorneys and clients on an as-needed basis.

Our office is in St. Johns County, and we practice primarily in St. Johns and surrounding counties such as, Duval, Clay, Putnam, and Flagler.  We have also represented clients in Alachua, Nassau, Volusia, Orange, Lake, Marion, Leon, Martin, and Columbia counties. Our office offers payment plans and accepts all major credit cards. We also offer evening and weekend appointments for your convenience.
