At the Law Offices of Shorstein and Lee, we have an excellent reputation for honest, fair and aggressive representation of our clients. With more than 20 years combined experience as prosecutors and defense attorneys, we have the experience to handle your case. We practice exclusively criminal law and family law. Unlike other law offices who try to take “whatever comes in the door”, our attorneys focus only on criminal defense and family law representation. The continuing success of our practice is due to our commitment to simple principles: complete honesty with our clients, hard work on their behalf, and gaining the best possible results in the courtroom.

In the courtroom, our lawyers have obtained "not guilty" verdicts or dismissals on a long list of criminal charges, including homicide, sexual assault, drug distribution, battery, and a variety of traffic offenses, including driving under the influence . Our law firm's trial experience and strong reputation for success has put us in a position to obtain excellent results in both the criminal courts and family courts if your case goes to trial. We are always careful to consult closely with our clients; if they wish to avoid the stress of a trial, we will work toward a favorable settlement through negotiation. Most cases do not go to trial and we are confident that our reputation for getting desired results is exceptional.

There are 3 attorneys in our firm. Bryan Shorstein dedicates his practice entirely to criminal defense. Sung Lee has a very successful family law practice and also handles criminal defense cases. Virginia Morgan is a talented lawyer who primarily handles family law cases, and assists with criminal defense cases.

Our attorneys serve the Northeast Florida area. Although the focus of our practice is in St. Johns, Duval, and Clay County, we also have represented clients in Putnam, Flagler, Alachua, Nassau, Orange, Lake, Marion, Leon, and Columbia counties. Our office offers convenient payment plans as well as all major credit cards. We also offer evening and weekend appointments for your convenience.
