Bryan Shorstein grew up in Jacksonville, Florida and attended the University of Florida from 1987 to 1991. Bryan graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. After working for the Florida Prepaid College Program in Jacksonville, Bryan went to Law School at Nova Southeastern University and obtained his law degree in 1996. Bryan began his legal career by working for the State Attorney's Office in St. Johns County (7th Judicial Circuit) from 1996-2003. While there, Bryan worked on all types of cases ranging from traffic misdemeanors to first degree murder cases.
In 2003, Bryan went to work as a criminal defense attorney with Steve Alexander and Sung Lee. Mr. Lee worked with Bryan at the State Attorney's Office in St. Augustine. During his time as a criminal defense attorney, Bryan has represented clients all over Florida but practices primarily in St. Johns County. Bryan has successfully represented clients in a variety of cases and dedicates his entire practice to criminal defense.
Bryan understands the relationship between attorney and client. Every client is given his cell phone number and personal email address so the client can call, email, or text him at any time. Bryan's clients are billed on a reasonable flat fee so the client doesn't have to fear that every time he or she has to contact him that it is costing money.
