- Estate Planning
For Estate Planning, Alyssa Shorstein, our experienced St. Johns County estate planning attorney, works with her clients to create a plan that works the best for each client’s needs. In her initial consultation, she will explain the different estate plan options, and after getting to know the individual’s circumstances and wishes, provides her opinion on what would best suit them. Once the client selects their plan, then we schedule their review and signing appointments. If a loved one has passed away and there are assets in their individual name or in their trust’s name, then those assets will need to be properly administered, or passed on, to the beneficiaries. In your consultation, Alyssa will explain the steps that will be needed in your specific situation. Guardianships: Guardianships of Minors and Guardian Advocacies

A guardianship advocacy is a streamlined guardianship process for parents of children who are turning 18 and who are developmentally or otherwise disabled in a way that means they cannot handle their own affairs.
